At BEJCRC, we believe that everyone deserves the chance to overcome life's challenges and reach their full potential. Our H.E.L.P.E.R.S. program (Helping to Educate & Lead People Effectively to Resource Services) is designed to empower individuals facing difficult circumstances by providing them with vital education, resources, and support to improve their lives and foster lasting change.

Every third and fourth Friday of the month, our dedicated team of volunteers and partners come together to provide much-needed assistance to our H.E.L.P.E.R.S. community members. Through the generosity of our partner organizations, we are able to distribute nutritious food, toiletries, clothing, and other essential items to help alleviate the immediate hardships faced by those without a permanent home.

But our H.E.L.P.E.R.S. program goes beyond meeting basic needs. We recognize that simple acts of kindness and care, such as offering a hot shower can have a profound impact on a person's well-being. By providing access to these services, we help individuals experiencing homelessness feel clean, refreshed, and more connected to their sense of self – a life-changing transformation that can inspire hope for a brighter future.

However, we cannot continue to make a difference without your support. Our H.E.L.P.E.R.S. program relies on a constant stream of volunteers and resources to keep it running smoothly and efficiently. We are seeking compassionate individuals and businesses like you to help us in the following ways:

1. Volunteer your time: Join our team of dedicated volunteers to assist in picking up donated items, organizing and distributing resources, or offering support to our H.E.L.P.E.R.S. community members during our events.
